Have you seen the new trailer? Holy frickin Sith Lords! I never thought I would see an AT-ST get crumpled by the force, much less sliced in half! Reminds me of the first time I read Dark Empire and Luke takes down a walker. I haven't been this excited about a SW game since Battlefront 2.

As most of you know I have been "running" the South Bay Star Wars Fan Club, in one form or another, for the past 5 years. And after a lot of thought I have decided that it is time for me to move on. I've had a lot of fun but with E3 release & without an appreciable increase in membership or interest it seems like a perfect time to hang things up.

Marin County Fair, 06/30 - 07/04

The upcoming July 4th weekend means that it's once again time for the Marin County fair. How does this relate to SW you ask? Well in years past there has been a model building contest held at the fair & judged by members of ILM. I had heard that they weren't going to do it this year but you never know. On the last Wednesday of June in 2000 a group of South Bay Star Wars fans meet for the 1st time at the Outback Steakhouse in Campbell. That 1st event was the start of what would become the South Bay Star Wars Fan Club. It's been a long, strange 5 years.
